It is now officically autumn...

For some reason, it doesn't ever feel like autumn to me until I've had my birthday. To me, my birthday signifies the start of the holiday season. Pretty soon, we'll be finalizing our plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A will be home for Thanksgiving, and hopefully Christmas (if they keep him on a schedule that has him working the first half of the month). It will be the first holiday season on 3 years that we will get to spend together.

This is my favorite time of year. From the time of my birthday to the New Year. I am giddy with excitement and anticipation! I can hardly wait! :)

When do you start preparing for the holidays?

(Oh, just be prepared... in my heightened state of excitement and anticipation, I may repeatedly change my blog without notice... Well... I guess this could count as notice :))
